  1. I got this as a Christmas present. It’s a neat little mag with interesting articles. Some of the content isn’t really adapted for Canadian readers however – lots of references and acronyms that a none-European wouldn’t understand (like myself). There’s also contests within the magazine, but you can’t participate if you’re now from a certain region. It’s not really inclusive to international readers.

    I do also wish there were more citing at the end of “backed up by science” claims.

    Other than that, my other comment is that there does seem to be a major waste of ink on a lot of page. For example, issue 69, an article about bees. 80% of the image takes up the whole page, and it isn’t even an image that is really in focus, it’s a bokeh effect so it’s not even relevant to the article really. It’s kinda of a waste of space – and your fingers do get a little inky after that.

    The content is well executed, short & sweet reads for the most part.
